There are many things to do and ways to fill your time during your stay in the Hotel Koronis. We have tried to give you a rough idea here although there are many more activities in the area than we have mentioned. For beach lovers Tolo/Tolon Bay is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling. The shallow, crystal clear water is great for young children and the fine sand makes awesome sandcastles! Try your hand at the many watersports on offer on Tolo beach, just a few metres from the hotel such as waterskiing, windsurfing & sailing where lessons are available to the novice. The kids love having a banana or ringo ride and motor boat rental is ideal for exploring the local islands and beaches for all the family.

Nafplio, the first capital of Greece after it was freed from the Turkish occupation is a delight to visit and is found just 15 minutes from Tolo either by car or local bus which leave every hour from right outside the hotel. Full of historical monuments, castles (Palamidi, Acronafplia & Bourtzi), narrow streets with overhanging balconies, Nafplio is a magical town with a cosmpolitan and romantic feel to it. It is visited by thousands of people all year round.

Walking and rambling are popular and visitors enjoy views from the mountains surrounding Tolo which are full of wild flowers during the spring and autumn. Further afield, all of the Peloponnese is of particular interest to nature enthusiasts and high mountains that run the length of the peninsula have their own mini ecosystems, amazing flora and wildlife plus skiing in available here during the Winter months.

The Argolida & more generally the Peloponnese are steeped in archaeology and history giving the visitor a plethora of sites and monuments to visit including the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros and Ancient Mycenae within half an hour of Tolo. There are also a number of excellent museums in Nafplio, the Miltary museum, Folklore museum, Archaeological museum, worry bead museum and ouzo museum where it is possible to take a tour of the local ouzo production facility and enjoy a tasting of the products. The Natural History museum at Ligourio on the road to Epidavros is well worth a visit and houses geological finds, crystals, fossils and tools. The Water Power museum in Arcadia is also worth a trip, combine it with the famous Arcadian villages of Dimitsana, Lagadia, Karitaina & Stemnitsa which were the headquarters of the revolt against the Turkish occupiers.

For the more adventurous visitor, rock climbing is practised close to Tolo as is kite surfing and paragliding.

Day cruises during the Summer months are also available from Tolo harbour visiting the islands of Hydra, Poros & Spetses on a regular basis and Monemvasia when weather permits.. a great day out for all the family.
